Your role

Are you fascinated by Commodities Trade Finance (CTF) and sustainability? Do you want to get a passionate experience in a corporate client facing team?

We’re looking for someone like that to:

  • support our Relationship Managers in their daily tasks like client profiling and due diligence
  • participate in identifying and structuring new financing opportunities and onboard clients to develop the bank’s CTF franchise
  • analyze the risks and prepare Credit requests for submission to the Credit Risk Department
  • contribute to transversal projects on sustainability and transition strategy

Our 6 month internship is an ideal way to gain the work experience you’ll need to launch your career. It’s also an opportunity to work with and learn from some of our sharp people in finance.

From the start of the program, you’ll be right at the heart of the business, taking part in the day-to-day operations. You’ll not only learn about the business of finance from top to bottom, you’ll also experience our unique workplace culture.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Commodity Trade Finance Metals team in Geneva. Our clients are international trading companies based in Switzerland or abroad. Our CTF team is staffed with more than 50 experienced professionals whose mission is to arrange the financing for flows of commodities around the planet.

Your expertise

You need to have completed at least four semesters of your bachelor’s degree or have obtained your master’s degree within the last 6 months.

In particular, you have:

  • a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)
  • at least four semesters at a university, preferably with a focus on banking and finance, accounting, economics or similar
  • an interest in working in a fast-paced international environment as part of a team
  • an autonomous, diligent and detail-oriented work style
  • good judgment when dealing with sensitive information
  • a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)
  • strong analytical skills with interest in corporate financial analysis, risk assessment and geopolitics
  • excellent French and English
